Holiday Styling with Natalie Steen
We sat down with Natalie, founder of The Nat Note to discuss her approach to holiday styling and what her little ones will be wearing this season for picture-perfect Christmas in Houston, Texas.

C: Where are you for the holidays?
N: We have typically spent the holidays either in my or my husband’s hometowns of Miami or San Antonio with our extended families - although this will be our first year celebrating Christmas in Houston (where we live). We are looking forward to waking up at home with our children Whit (6), George (3), and Nell (21 mos.) on Christmas morning.

C: What are your top travel trips with children?
N: Don’t! Just kidding. But if you must… charge the iPad, bring more snacks than you think you need, rely on the kindness of strangers, and take a gummy before take-off :)

C: Favourite family Holiday Traditions?
N: I love everything about this season - especially having a hand in creating the holiday magic for my children and the build up to Christmas. My birthday is on December 25th, so the most festive time of year feels doubly so for me.

C: What will your family be wearing on Christmas Day?
N: After we change out of our pajamas, the children will be wearing La Coqueta, Dad will be wearing Brooks Brothers, and Mom will be wearing something fabulous ;)

C: What’s on your La Coqueta Wish List?
N: We’ll be celebrating the New Year in South Texas, where we spend much time outdoors. My boys would get much use out of the Lorenzo jackets, which are practical yet polished. My daughter is learning how to talk and one of her first words is “shoes” - I can just imagine her smile upon seeing the red glitter mary janes. And if I could convince them to all wear matching berets, I would be smiling even harder.
